The best of Duran Duran

Formed in Birmingham in 1978, Duran Duran represented a new age of popular music – their new wave songs were punctuated by synth sounds and alternative lyrics.

Their unique sound and style made them one of the most popular groups of the eighties and nineties – over 40 years since they first formed their songs are still a favourite with fans of all ages.

Oh my goodness what a blast from the past! When I was a teenager my bedroom wall was absolutely covered in Duran Duran posters - that and Paul Young! I still love the music though my two teenagers shriek with outrage if I ever try to play any of the music from the 1980s.

Thank for this and all those videos - take me right back in time! Happy carefree days - except when I was moping around worrying about getting a boyfriend of course!
