Songs about Mum for Mothering Sunday

It’s Mothering Sunday this weekend, 10th March – a special day to celebrate and pay tribute to the Mothers in our lives.

From songs about motherhood to songs appreciating all that Mums do, we’ve put together a playlist to enjoy even if you can’t physically be with your loved ones.

Are any of your favourites on our list?

Mama – Il Divo

This song tells the story of a child’s expression of gratitude to the beloved mother.

Mother’s Little Helper – Rolling Stones

This tongue-in-cheek ode to stressed-out mums everywhere is reflective of the time it was written in, simultaneously taking aim at the rise of prescription drugs of the 60s.
