Will Aid 2012 …. don’t miss out!

Print Friendly

A great idea has been relaunched  called Will Aid where by drawing up your Will with a local solicitor you only have to make a voluntary donation to one of 9 of the UK’s best loved charities. It seems a great idea and benefits everyone. We should all make out a Will as it keeps all your affairs in order and helps our own loved ones in the long run. Silverhairs thinks its a great idea!

Here’s how Will Aid works:

Solicitors across the UK donate their time to support the Will Aid charities.  Instead of paying a fee for writing a basic Will, you are invited to make a donation the the Will Aid carities.  Suggested minimum donations are £40 for a codicil, £90 for a single Will or £135 for a pair of mirror Wills.

In other words, Will Aid makes your Will more affordable while helping to raise vital funds for charity.

Once you’ve taken care of your loved ones, it also gives you a wonderful opportunity to think abut leaving a gift to charity in your Will.   Any gift you leave to our Will Aid charities, large or small, can make a lasting impact on the lives of vulnerable people in the UK and around the world.

Don’t miss out on Will Aid 2012!  The scheme is only running for the month of November and Will Aid solicitors are in great demand, and will get very booked up…..

The phrase that upsets me in this article is 'vulnerable people in the UK and around the world'. I am a great believer in the saying that charity begins at home and will not donate to organisations that send money abroad. There are plenty of hardships and very needy people and worthwhile projects in the UK.
