Romantic Valentine’s Day Menu

Host a romantic night in this Valentine’s Day with a 3-course feast that even the amateur chef can rustle up.

Each course can be prepped ahead of time, so all you need to do is pop it in the oven before it’s time to serve.

Add some candles and some music and you’ll have an atmosphere to rival any restaurant – without the crowds!

Enjoy our romantic playlist with our Songs About Love Valentine’s Day Playlist.

Blackberry and Goat’s Cheese Tart

goats-tarts

A special Valentine’s Day meal doesn’t need to mean hours spent prepping in the kitchen. Free up time to spend with your loved ones with this quick and easy blackberry and goat’s cheese tart that’s straightforward enough even for beginners.

Malaysian Spiced Sea bass with Brown Rice

This Malaysian inspired dish is quick and simple to prepare, but full of flavour thanks to the simple shallot rub the sea bass marinates in.

It’s a quick and easy dinner ready in just twenty minutes – and has the advantage of being healthy, too!

Chocolate fondue

This delicious chocolate fondue recipe is a real showstopper but can be pulled together in minutes. It tastes great with mixed berries and fresh sliced banana, as well as pieces of brownie or shortbread, too.

My other half doesn't like fish or goat's cheese. So pate, followed duck breast for her, ribeye steak for me and lemon meringue pie.cheers.

Would rather have the following:
Dover Sole to share, cooked in foil or "en papillote".
Two partridges, cooked in slow cooker with favourite veg cooked in steamer.
Fresh strawberries with a dash of balsamic glaze and black pepper.
Very little to go wrong except being careful not to overcook fish.
