Do you suffer from joint pain?

With winter approaching and the cold weather already rearing its ugly head, those of us who suffer from joint pain are usually the first to suffer.

“People who suffer from arthritis may experience increased pain and stiffness during colder months. This may be because low barometric pressure has a physical impact on the joints or that it encourages inflammation making joint movement more painful. In addition, during cold weather, the body focuses on circulating blood around the core and major organs and away from muscles and joints. As a result, the joints may seem less flexible,” says Consultant Rheumatologist Dr Rod Hughes.

I’m A Celebrity and Gavin & Stacey favourite Larry Lamb recently featured in a short new video released by GOPO®. Larry defied all expectations during his time in the Australian jungle by not allowing his age to slow him down, taking on trials and helping out around the camp with the other campmates.

In the video, Larry explains that a few years ago he struggled to cope with his busy work schedule due to his knees causing him a lot of discomfort, and it made simple exercise very difficult. Larry even goes on to say that due to the pain he couldn’t have gone into the jungle a few years ago, and it was thanks to GOPO® Joint Health that it allowed him to rediscover his active lifestyle.

“Arlene Phillips recommended GOPO®,” Larry says in the short video. “Like me, she’d been suffering with joint pain and was unable to dance. Two years on and I don’t have any pain in my knees.”

GOPO® is a naturally-occurring anti-inflammatory agent isolated from the seeds and husks of fruit from a sub-species of Rosa canina (rose-hip). Scientists have found that GOPO® can prevent the migration of inflammatory cells thought to be involved in triggering and maintaining joint inflammation.
