Do we drink too much in the UK?

More than half of all women in the UK now have an alcohol problem according to a new poll which was discussed on ITVs Good Morning Britain on Monday 8th June.

The UK government guidelines suggest that women should not regularly consume more than 2 to 3 units of alcohol daily (2 to 3 small glasses of wine) while the recommended maximum daily intake for men is 3 to 4 (1.5 to 2 pints of beer) units daily.

Do you feel comfortable with the amount of alcohol you consume?  Do you find it easy to comprehend the number of units contained in your weekly intake?
