Just joined this group, and finding this article on eye health really helpful. Having recently been diagnosed with Ocular malignant melanoma, I am struggling with the effect it is having on my life,. what I thought was just deteriorating vision due to age (57) was actually something much more sinister, only picked up by my optician. Have not been getting great support, but hopefully when I move shortly, will find a more sympathetic doctor and staff tohelp me through this. What makes it worse though is that there are only 4 centres in the UK where I can see an ocular oncologist, and have treatment. As I live in Cornwall it makes even an out patient appointment a major issue.
Has anyone else had this issue to deal with, and if so could you give me some advice please?
