Washing and drying
Of course, your feet get washed every time you have a bath or shower, but how much attention do you really give them when compared to say your face or hands? Set aside a few minutes at the end of the day when you give your feet – and only your feet – a good scrub and wash: before bed is a good time, but after work or before dinner also works.
Drying your feet thoroughly is equally as important. Make sure to dry in between your toes, as this is where infections can develop if they are left damp. Don’t bundle your feet straight back into socks afterwards either; give your feet some time to breathe and it’ll help you control odours too.
Removing dry skin
Getting rid of dry skin on your feet can help them feel soft and supple. Pumice is a natural material sold in small blocks, and it’s perfect for helping flake away dead skin cells. Using a scrub while washing your feet doesn’t just help remove dead cells; it’s also great for stimulating your nerve endings too and making your feet feel more lively.

If you’re not on a strict budget, then think about getting a pedicure once a month as a regular treat for your feet. Pedicures may conjure up images of indulgence but it’s a great way to take care of your feet regularly, with professional help.
