All five Selfridges stores were given a touch of pink last night to show their support for Estee Lauder

Companies’ Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign. Selfridges London, Manchester Trafford, Manchester Exchange, Birmingham and Selfridges.com were all lit up pink to mark the moment.

Initiated by Estee Lauder Companies in 1992, Breast Cancer Awareness Month is now celebrating its 20th year of helping to raise awareness and funding for the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.

Working with Estee Lauder Companies, Selfridges has long supported Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and is this year taking part in the Global Illumination Initiative where over 200 landmarks and monuments worldwide will be illuminated pink in honour of The Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign.

The lighting spectacle has made The Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign a global talking point and in 2010, set a new Guinness World Record for “Most Landmarks Illuminated for a Cause in 24 Hours.”

Customers wanting to show support for The Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign should visit the Estee Lauder counter at their closest store or visit Selfridges.com where products including the Evelyn Lauder and Elizabeth Hurley Dream Lip Collection, Evelyn Lauder Dream Compact and Evelyn Lauder Dream Pin can be purchased with donations from each product going to The Breast Cancer Research Foundation.
