Clever uses for baby wipes

Print Friendly

Convenient, cheap and versatile, baby wipes have a place in the home even long after the little ones have all grown up.

From quick clean ups to smart stain removal, there’s dozens of ways you can use baby wipes to make life easier. Here’s 5 clever uses you can give a go:

Drawer freshener
Forget expensive sachets of pot pourri – you can freshen up your drawers with a few baby wipes and your favourite essential oils. Cut wipes into small squares and then add a few drops of some essential oil before placing them into the bottom of a drawer – they’ll help keep your drawers subtly fresh and prevent clothing from taking on a woody scent.

Remove pet hair
If your dog or cat sheds, baby wipes can quickly stop stray hairs in their tracks. Use a baby wipe to quickly rub down your pet; the moisture will attract loose fur – and also leave them smelling fresh! The formula is gentle enough for paws too, perfect for rainy or muddy days when you don’t want them trailing mess through the house.

Erase deodorant stains
Despite our best efforts, we all know the feeling of antiperspirant marks or residue showing up on dark clothing. A quick once over with a baby wipe will quickly remove the stain and won’t leave behind any wet patch – perfect if you’re already late and running out the door.

Remove stray paint
If you’re doing a little redecorating, keep a pack of baby wipes handy for any unwanted splatter or spills. Baby wipes are incredibly adept at removing stray droplets from wood, carpets and skirting without hassle.

Keep the car clean
Quickly give your car’s interior a refresh with baby wipes. They easily wipe dust off the dashboard and can help you remove any sticky reside from the steering wheel or gear stick, too.

Yes baby wipes are very handy to have around but DO NOT flush them down the toilet as they can block your sewage pipes!!

Good tips, thank you. I keep a pack of these in the car and at work for use when I need a freshen up.
