One-click solution to clothes labelling

When a loved one goes into a care home, it can be a very distressing time. It can sometimes happen very quickly, perhaps following a hospital stay, and there is often a lot for families to arrange beforehand.

To ensure clothing doesn’t go astray, care homes may ask families to label all their loved one’s belongings – this can sometimes feel like an overwhelming task to do on top of everything else. As daunting as this may be, it is especially important to do, as anyone who has had a family member in care will tell you; it can be upsetting when their clothes go missing.

One company, Snappy Tags®, have been providing residents and care homes across the UK, with a quick, easy, and cost-effective solution to this problem.  Snappy Tags® are simply snapped onto the laundry label or garment seam using the applicator. Once applied they will not come off easily even in an industrial wash. Snappy Tags® are discreet and resemble small buttons, making them comfortable and unobtrusive to the wearer.

Snappy Tags® are also re-usable and can be re-applied to a new item of clothing quickly and easily.  Manager Liz Waites explained,

“Snappy Tags are a quick and simple way for families to label their loved ones’ clothing whether it is for care home residents or for children’s school uniforms. Unlike labels, we laser-etch the required name into the Snappy Tags and so the writing is guaranteed not fade or come off in the wash. They are a great long-term solution because the tags can be removed and popped onto a new summer or winter wardrobe. Similarly, they make respite care easier to manage, as once removed, you would never even know the tags were there before – clothes aren’t permanently marked with the name, making them a very dignified solution.”

Residents’ families and care homes agree: “Thank you for sending the tags so promptly, they are easy to use and so practical for the clothes my mother-in-law has in the nursing home. The tags mean nothing is lost in the laundry process.” D. Blackah

“We always recommend Snappy Tags to our residents because they are the best product of the type on the market. They stand up to our washing process…and are easily applied to clothing.” Vida Hall Care Home, Harrogate.

Snappy Tags® are an ideal solution for a loved one in a care home or even for the grandchildren’s school uniform.

Prices start from £9.95 for 25 tags. For further info or to order visit www.snappytags.co.uk or call 0344 5611994.
