It does glide on, giving you that glamorous event look. For longevity, blot the lipstick with tissue paper, use a little translucent powder to set and then reapply another layer.

Laura Mercier Crème Lip Colour is that golden combination of a long lasting lipstick and a hydrating one. It’s a bit on the expensive side, but the easy application and the results are worth the price.

Hourglass Rouge Liquid Lipstick is a matte lipstick that comes with a wand applicator for precise application and a reputation as sturdy as a Russian car. This lipstick is a fantastic option for eating out as it will stay put. Remember, this is a matte lipstick, so it will only accentuate chapped lips, so be sure to exfoliate them beforehand.
