Will Kemp Art School
From the Will Kemp Art School website you can find a selection of excellent tutorials to help you improve your skills with acrylic painting. From their YouTube channel you can also find a series of tutorials in still life for beginners.
Painting With Jane
The website Painting With Jane is another excellent resource where you can find a range of instructive videos you can paint along with. She uploads a new tutorial every week, so it’s a great way to pick up with a new hobby.
The painter Daria Callie has a brilliant YouTube page filled with interesting tutorials and videos to help you master the techniques of oil painting. From blending to colour mixing, you can find lots of useful videos to help you along.
The Joy of Painting with Bob Ross
The Joy of Painting with Bob Ross was an extremely popular television series in the 60s and 70s in the United States – each week Bob Ross would teach you how to create a different landscape painting in just 30 minutes. Thanks to the wonders of the internet, his videos have enjoyed a resurgence in popularity. They’re available on Netflix and on YouTube to watch for free.
If you’re interested in getting started with watercolours, the YouTube channel Watercolour Misfit is a great place to start. From basic tutorials for complete beginners to more advanced techniques, this is a great place to go to learn more about the art of working with watercolours.
