Clever uses for compressed air dusters

Compressed air duster canisters are popular in offices – but can be just as useful around the home.

Here’s all the ways you can put a simple can of canned air to use. You can find them on Amazon or at most office supply stores.

Clean lampshades and between shutters

For hard to reach areas like lampshades and between shutters, compressed air can make light work of dusting.

Clean your computer keyboard

Many of us have spent more time at our computers than ever before in 2020; it’s important to remember to clean your keyboard to remove any dust and debris that might have built up, particularly between the keys. This is the most common use for an air duster can and works just as well at home as it would in an office available from Amazon

Tidy up your car

Cleaning the dashboard, vents and centre console of your car can be surprisingly fiddly – use an air duster to help keep your car looking good as new.

Dust delicate glassware and porcelain

If you have fragile keepsakes around the homemade from glass, china or porcelain, you can use a compressed air duster can to clean it with minimal handling.

Clean an electric razor

Clean the blades of an electric razor and restore your device to as good as new with the help of a can of compressed air.

Clean CDs and vinyl records

If dust is getting in the way of playback quality with your vinyl records or compact discs, a few squirts of compressed air can help clean everything away without getting fingerprints on them in the process.

Clean camera lenses

Camera lenses can be difficult to clean and should be wiped as little as possible. A can of compressed can do the trick instead.
