Heat your room up to 60% faster than a standard radiator with the newly-launched Stanton RadBooster

With Winter upon us, a new product that will heat a room up to 60% faster than a standard radiator*, saving time, money and energy, has gone on sale in the UK.

Stanton RadBooster, which has been developed over several years and with the benefit of almost a century’s worth of experience in the heating industry, is a discreet, low noise fan that fits underneath most types of radiator – single, double, treble, non-convector or convector. It is engineered and assembled in Britain and available in two lengths: RB 400 (60cm in length) and RB 600 (80cm in length and two fan speeds: normal and boost.

The unit’s tangential fan blows unbroken across the length of the Stanton RadBooster grille, rapidly speeding up heat distribution around a room, making a room warmer, faster. This, in turn, cuts the time needed for the radiator to achieve the desired room temperature, in so doing reducing the energy required by the boiler. Its powerful motor produces high volumes of air, reducing ambient heat-up time from 18°C to 21°C by up to 60%, enabling it to heat an average room in around ten minutes.

The Stanton RadBooster had been designed to work straight from the box without the need for any specialist installation. It fits beneath the radiator and should be plugged into a nearby socket.  The product is discreet, sits neatly beneath single, double and treble, non-convector or convector radiators to blend seamlessly in a room. No DIY skill is required to install it; it should just be placed under the radiator with the legs adjusted to fit close to the bottom of the radiator and plugged in. And although it pushes high volumes of air, it offers whisper-quiet performance. Tested at normal speed, the noise level is 0.98dBa above background. It is compatible with most typical hot water central heating radiators.

Stanton RadBooster is the brainchild of two long-time business colleagues, who have started the new heating products business in their Seventies, saying that age should be no barrier to innovation and enterprise. The two men, Gary Webster and Barry Whichello, have combined experience in the heating industry of approaching 100 years.

The RB 400 is priced at £75 and the RB 600 at £100 and both can be purchased online at or you can on: 0300 303 3612. Calls are charged at your local rate

* Based on tests conducted using a double convector panel radiator, with a minimum constant water temperature at the radiator of at least 40°c.
