Berkeley Dog Beds is a family owned business based in the Hampshire village of Wherwell on the banks of the River Test.
Established 6 years ago, the company offers a full range of dog beds and accessories to purchase online using their own designs and manufactured by a small network of highly skilled British craftsmen and suppliers.

The company’s Orthopaedic Dog Bed Mattress is made just like the very best quality beds for humans using the latest pocket spring technology combined with traditional mattress making techniques and deep layers of natural fibre filling for optimum comfort, insulation and joint support.
A removable waterproof cover is then added plus you have the option to add a further choice of stylish, hard-wearing fabric covers for additional warmth and style.
The mattress can be used on its own or mounted on the company’s Wooden Dog Bed Frame which is handmade in solid English oak for the ultimate in style and canine luxury.
For safety and environmental concerns, the company does not use any foam, memory foam or fire retardant chemical spray treatments in the filling of any of their dog beds.
Berkeley Dog Beds are fully approved by Canine Arthritis Management – the UK’s leading authority and support group for arthritis and all types of musculoskeletal conditions affecting dogs.
In addition to their orthopaedic mattress, the company offers a hugely popular Raised Dog Bed. A waterproof cover is attached to a sturdy steel frame rather like a ‘doggy hammock’ to provide a super-comfy elevated sleeping platform which is both kind on joints and so easy to clean.
The steel frame is collapsible making it ideal to stow away when travelling with your dog or alternatively, choose one of their Travel Dog Beds – a deep pile pure wool rug backed with water-resistant faux suede that packs away in a handy drawstring back when not in use.
