With only one month until Christmas, there are preparations to be made.

The last Sunday before advent is known as Stir-up Sunday because it’s the day to get cracking on the Christmas pudding and  Christmas cake.

Worried about icing the cake? Just click on www.cake-decorating-tips.com and  view a step-by-step video which will guide you from start to finish.

The ‘Christmas Cakes’ section of the site contains over forty hints and tips on decorating cakes. These include making marzipan Christmas trees,  Christmas roses, sugar bells, and a special candle with an edible flame!

Or why not delight your friends and family by decorating the cake with a circle of  marzipan fruits?  And once again this skill is demonstrated on the cake decorating website. Have fun!!
