Be in with a chance of winning a 4 week virtual photography course – a fantastic prize for any budding photographer!

MyPhotoSchool ®  is offering the chance to one lucky person, to win a free place on the 4-week virtual photography course,  Adobe Lightroom For Photographers with George Cairns.

George will teach you how to perform common photo fixes, tackle problems with colour and tone, organise and edit photographs and much more.

You will receive weekly 1-2-1 video tutorials and be set assignments, which George then critiques.

The video lectures are uploaded every Saturday morning and can be watched and played back at any time. Adobe Lightroom For Photographers with George Cairns usually costs £145.00.

It starts the first Saturday of every month and runs throughout the year. For more information, please click HERE

REQUIREMENTS:

In order to get the most out of this course, you will need to set aside time each week to edit some photographs, based on what you have learnt during the lesson.  While you can submit existing images from your library, we recommend you try and shoot new pictures each week to maximise your learning experience.

You can download a trial copy of Adobe Lightroom here

You will need an installed copy of Adobe Lightroom 5 or above.  If you have an earlier version we recommend you download the trial version for the duration of the course.

You will not need any special photographic equipment for this course.  A DSLR is preferable, but a compact camera or even a camera phone could be used to complete the assignments.   A tripod would be useful, but not essential, as well as a selection of prime or zoom lenses ranging from wide angle out to telephoto zoom.

What a super prize!
My husband bought me a camera, and I have a collection of photos of fungi taken over the last couple of years. Although it is not the right time of the year to add to that - it would be great to know how to make the most of them. Oh, and the family photos as well of course!

I would so love to win this prize! I've been a keen amateur photographer for years But I hate sitting at the computer fiddling with my photographs afterwards. This would provide the incentive I so clearly need.
