Green-fingered gardeners are in for a treat this spring on 1st & 2nd May at TV gardener Toby Buckland’s Garden Festival at Powderham Castle near Exeter in Devon.
The two-day event will play host to more than a 180 exhibitors, including some of the West Country’s finest plant nurseries, craft, food and drink stalls.
Toby will be joined in a packed programme of talks and demo’s by: Christine Walkden, TV Gardening Presenter Of The Year 2014, down to earth again after ballooning adventures over Britain; Bob Flowerdew, organic gardening aficionado and Gardener’s Question Time veteran; Jim Buttress and co-judge Jonathan Moseley, both fresh from BBC2’s successful series The Big Allotment Challenge, plus many other fascinating specialists from the festival’s exhibitors. With children’s entertainment, live music and plenty of West Country cheer on offer, all set within the beautiful location of historic Powderham Castle, it looks set to be a great family day out. Tickets cost £7.50, children go free and are available from www.tobygardenfest.co.uk.
