Do you feel confident overtaking HGV's on the motorway?Overtaking an HGV is a manoeuvre to be carefully judged for width space and timing before proceeding quickly to a position in front where driver can see you. Though confident I am sure it does raise my blood pressure slightly. My belief is generally HGV drivers can be trusted but I have witnessed an HGV almost turn over on a straight stretch of road, seemingly losing control momentarily or fatigued.ViewDate:

Should seagulls be culled?Noticed a single Seagull soaring high over head, not normally seen 6 miles south of Birmingham city centre. Next day,. Seagull dead on pavement after early morning air attack by large garden birds. This handsome bird may have been competing for food or tried to steal the young of other birds, perhaps even succeeded to have had life viciously ended by other birds who took a natural survival action.ViewDate:

Should a statue of Margaret Thatcher be erected in her home town?Being one of millions encouraged to expand in business under Mrs Thatchers reign, later being dealt the blow of job redundancies and seeing large companies that had existed for over a century closing down, I know families suffered great hardship due to decisions Mrs Thatcher made. Commemoration is based on being the first woman Prime Minister of Great Britain & Northern Ireland. She was not the best Prime Minister and the amount of money the statue costs could go to charity for the homeless. -
