Should all pensioners over 75 be entitled to a free TV licence?BBC is subsidised by the Government anyway.. Isn't it.? Why should Pensioners have to pay.??? We are on restricted income as it is.... At least I am.!! I only get the Basic Pension and am entitled to Pension credit too... I wasn't in any Pension scheme with my employments. Unfortunately....ViewDate:

Win a Tru-Diamonds 4-carat Belle of the Ball Ring! This ring would be a welcome addition to my new collection... After burglars stole my lifetime jewellery a month ago.!! Including my much loved Engagement ring I had in 1959.... irreplaceable and sadly no valid insurance for any of my precious jewellery......ViewDate:

A young lads best day!I started work in 1956, aged 15, in the Village where I live today. I was an Apprentice Hairstylist, And proudly took my first weeks pay home to Mum and Dad. It contained £1 and 50 shillings. My Mum gave me the 50 shillings back. most of which I saved. The same thing happened again.. I got the 50 shillings back. The only thing different was that I bought my Mum a bunch of flowers out of the first 50 shillings I ever had. This continued for several years. She loved getting my wages along with a bunch of flowers. Sadly Dad passed away 2004. And my Mum is now in a Private Care Home aged 99.....ViewDate:

Should families be able to overrule your wishes on organ donation? No.!! Families should not be allowed to refuse the Donor's wishes made in good faith, whilst still of sound mind. I would be furious if my family over-ruled my personal choice. After all I won't be using them again.!! And it's the last thing I could do for someone else who would live awhile longer with my help.
