Should smoking be banned on British beaches? If smoking is so very bad why not ban it? Well we know this will not happen because of the loss of revenue to the Government. This element of control is beginning to get out of hand. Either smoking is dangerous or not! Alcohol is dangerous as people are not aware of their actions but people still drink Alcohol! Smoking does not define a person. A parent on the beach enjoying time with their family ......Well done they deserve a cigarette. It is not a confined space. Children are more at risk sitting in cars from exhaust fumes!ViewDate:

Is taxation the answer or is awareness going to reduce our sugar consumption? Why do we need all the sugar in drinks? I worry about sweetners and other additives. I try to make our own drinks because I know what is in them. It is easy to make lemonade and water is easily obtainable. If we continue to buy drinks they will continue to sell them additives as well.ViewDate:

Would you welcome your GP surgery being opened 7 days a week?Doctors need be alert and capable of being fit to make decisions. A life away from work is essential for their wellbeing. We would need many more Doctors to cover 7 Days a week. Currently we have alternatives when our surgery is closed. If surgeries open at weekends people would visit at the weekends instead of in the week as they do their shopping now shops are open at weekends. This would leave Doctors appointments not used in the week. Surgeries open seven days a week would have a knock on effect as other Agencies would have to work to provide backup for instance laboratory staff would have to work to check blood samples. The one service I would like to see improved is the return of a Doctor to visit very ill people at home during the night. This could be covered on a rota system and could prevent elderly people being admitted to hospital. I feel blessed that we have the services of our Doctors and Nurses and I would not like to see them overworked underpaid and their health and family life suffer.ViewDate:
