How confident do you feel that the Government can deliver Brexit to the benefit of the country?I despair. I voted remain for personal reasons - have a holiday home in France and a son in Spain. I didn’t take much notice of the opinions of politicians, at the time. I’m 71, by the way. But, on reflection, much later, I cannot help but think that Boris et al were lying, big time. If there is an election and he gets in, I will leave the country! The only other time I have felt so strongly was re E. Powell! But, here is my problem - who to vote for, in the event of an election. Basically a socialist, I like Starmer, but think Corbyn too indecisive. I like May, but detest Boris. No other choice! The backbiting of the Tories probably would tip the balance. Vote on the deal? I think that would be essential - but do former Brexiteers feel the same? I doubt it. Perhaps the government might like to hear my opinion!! I doubt that too! In the meantime, the exchange rate is diabolical! And I might need an international driving licence, cost! And the exchange rate might deteriorate even further. And I might have to queue to get into France and Spain. And Kent fruit growers will have no- one to pick their fruit. And companies, like Unilever, might leave the U.K. And jobs will be lost. And we might return to the days when we can only bring 6 bottles of wine back from France!! Not sounding good !!!ViewDate:
