I think that there will be a great deal of drunkeness at first, and it will be a nightmare this Saturday!

If I won this I could replace the rose on my son's memorial which has sadly succumbed to some disease

My wife and I have decided that as our four grandchildren never bother to say thank you for gift nor do they send us cards, (well they did on our Diamond wedding anniversary but we think that was to ensure their invite to the rave up!) we shall no longer give either gifts or cards and see what happens.

We often took our four grandchildren on holiday without their parents and loved it except for the one time I, at the age of 70 years tried to show my grandson how to do a somersault on a trampoline ...and broke my back by crushing a disc!

We have a strange mix with our family. four grandchildren and six great grandchildren, in that gifts to our 'greats' are always thanked for profusely by their parents. Gifts to the parents which are handed over personally get thanked for, money however sent in cards is never acknowledged until we ask if they have received it, then we get a begrudged 'yes thanks' We have been told we should be on 'snap chat' whatever that is as it is easier! We have an email address and a landline what's the problem? Other than bad manners of course.
