Contemplating a Shopping TripHi Patricia, I went to John Lewis last week, my first trip out except for local necessities. It wasn't busy in the morning. A lot of people had masks on everyone was very careful regarding spacing. The company were very organised, there were staff on the door guiding customers, 6 staff in the foyer guiding and hand sanitizer at the door and hand sanitizer at the doorViewDate:

Win a luxurious holiday to Dubrovnik, CroatiaFor anyone who wins, Croatia is beautiful, We were a bit disappointed with Dubrovnik, it's a small town, pedestrianised and very touristy. We thought 2 days were enough to go into the town, the rest of the time we explored the peninsula by bus/walking.ViewDate:

Is a 'stiff-upper-lip' mentality partially to blame for today's mental health problems?I think the 'stiff upper lip' is to blame for people not wanting to tell anyone about their mental health problems. We think it's shameful to admit we're feeling anxious, depressed, suicidal. If people haven't experienced the same feelings, you're told - stop thinking about it, ignore it etc. Believe me if it was that simple no'one would have problems. I suffered for 18 months by which time I felt completely insane. I went to the docs who put me on antidepressants. When I told my husband he said 'why didn't you tell me you felt that bad'. I did, repeatedly, but unlike a broken leg no'one can see a broken mind unless you take extreme measures, I did'nt, but felt like it. If anyone else is suffering please go to the docs and get help. If anyone is 'going on' about something ng that's stressing them listen properly, help by trying to sort the problem or persuading them to get help.ViewDate:

Is going digital isolating elderly people?I agree, I've just posted the same complaint. It's not on that people suffer financially because they are not tech savvie.ViewDate:

Is going digital isolating elderly people?Hi Margaret, does the complex you’re in have an office that will print off your tickets, you could offer to pay for the paper? Or maybe buy a printer, they are very useful.ViewDate:

Is going digital isolating elderly people?I use online banking but for those who don't, it's getting harder, as a lot of post offices are closing, which has happened in out town.ViewDate:

Is going digital isolating elderly people?I find it infuriating that people who either don't have a computer or are not very good with technology lose out when it comes to keeping up with contracts for phones, broadband, utilities etc. I keep up with my contracts and always get in touch with the companies to renegotiate a new contract, but I know friends who cannot do this for various reasons. For example my friend is paying a lot more for her phone and broadband contract than she needs to but will not accept help to change it as she is frightened that something will go wrong. These companies should offer fair deals to everyone. -
