UK and the EU: Better off out or in?I voted, all those years ago, to join a "Common Market" - a European Economic Union - to remove import/export tariffs & to make trade, both for business & personal reasons, easier, more manageable, & cheaper for all. I did NOT vote for the devolution of our Sovereign powers to an unelected Bureaucracy in another Country. Nor did I vote for a Federalised Europe. We have surrendered FAR too much of what was Britain to the faceless bureaucrats in Brussels, who treat us with contempt. They force "laws" on us which are wholly inappropriate to our culture & well-being. Bear in mind also that the accounts of the EU have NEVER been signed off by any auditor - they are corrupt! Noses in the trough? Certainly! I would like to see a genuinely independent analysis of the cost/benefit of leaving or remaining in Europe, NOT a politically biased monologue from pro & anti - just a straightforward evaluation of the implications of either option for when (if) it comes to a referendum. If I am forced to vote without any further information forthcoming - I will vote to leave. Further - after many years of seeing the three main parties cock up just about everything they've touched, I will be voting for a fourth party in the General Election. This worm is turning! -
