Should there be a legal age limit for leaving a child home alone? My heart says that parents and guardians should be able to make a judgement based on their knowledge of the child's abilities and an assessment of the risks within the home and the local environment. But my head says that some people are unable to make this judgements and therefore society requires parameters which hopefully all will abide by. Of course, this will not be the case if a rule is set, children would still be left inappropriately, but society can relax in the knowledge that a well defined rule has been broken.ViewDate:

Which coalition do you find more palatable? There is no one party that I am totally comfortable with; the three main parties all have good ideas and that is why I would like to see another coalition. This arrangement brings moderation to government, reigning in extreme political ideology. Regrettably, we rejected proportional representation some years ago. Would it not be better for voters to be represented and governed by a broad range of views and not on party lines?ViewDate:

What are your views on hospital car park charging? You're obviously not on a tight budget Rob60, probably drawing a big fat index linked pension while the rest of us have to continue to work on a zero hours contract and still try to visit our loved ones.ViewDate:

How do you think the current obesity crisis should be handled? If you haven't made a reasonable attempt to look after yourself or your children and ignored face to face advice from a health professional then you should be expected to help pay for any health care directly attributed to your condition. It's crazy that now children are undergoing surgery at huge expense because they are overweight. The NHS will be bankrupt soon if the health of the nation doesn't improve soon. Education and incentive by hitting peoples pockets is surely the only way.ViewDate:

Jam or cream first? The great scone debate! It's simple, cream is a fat, a dairy product. Would you put jam or any other sandwich filling onto your bread first? No, you put the butter on first and then the tasty addition. It's the same with a scone; cream first, jam on top. No need for any further debate ;-)
