tigreisis's bio
Scottish through and through.
Last year 2021 I found out on my birthday I had Cancer. Oropharyngeal. My mouth, tongue, soft pallet and my throat. Apparently I had it all through COVID year. And because dentists were unavailable it wasn’t found out till they started back again in August 2021. Because it was well established they had to hit it hard, I was kept in hospital. The Beatson Cancer hospital in Glasgow. From last week in August till 15 th October. Undergoing radiotherapy and overnight chemotherapy and Immunotherapy .which was for full 10 hours on the nights I received it. I got the all clear in July this year 9 months after treatments. And I am attending follow up clinics every three months. I am like all Cancer Patients under Cancer care for 5years now. Here’s hoping it doesn’t return.
Now I’ve always been a big girl, although my weight went up and down, I’d go from a size 16uk, to a 22uk and still my big hips and thighs remained. I lost 7 stones with the Cancer, and for the first time ever the weight has come off of my hips and thighs, I’ve got a gap, however I wouldn’t recommend cancer as a diet. Definitely not.
