Should a gingerbread man become a gingerbread person?Am I missing something, or is there a band of people with nothing better to do with their time but pull the way we do everything to pieces? The world seems to be going quite mad!ViewDate:

Should a gingerbread man become a gingerbread person?Political correctness gone mad! What is wrong with people, offended by trivial things. Whatever next, I cant imagine, get real and grow up!ViewDate:

Speakers Corner CommentsThank you for your comments. I am slowly getting used to things, but dont like it. Its the no-one to talk to that gets me the most. Travelling alone, no one in the car to sing along with. I am thinking of braving it and taking a holiday alone next year. Have you tried? If si, how did it go?ViewDate:

Would you consider retiring abroad?Already planning to return to Australia when I retire, unless things pickup here.ViewDate:

Does the future look brighter?Exactly John, wasted enough time and money on this expensive boys club! We need a strong leader, not one who cowtows to these pompous eurocrats. My fear is this country is finished if she continues down this route. Remember when we went in, we were told it was only for trade? Politicians just lie to us all the time, where are the ones with integrity. Who will stand by their word?ViewDate:

Does the future look brighter?I feel the same Fran, if our vote is ignored, I will never vote again! This is not democracy. Total farce, they should never have chosen May, she was always working to her own agenda. Traitor to the people!ViewDate:

Does the future look brighter? We are being sold down the river, not what we democratically voted for! We need to walk away, pay them nothing.ViewDate:

Speakers Corner CommentsHi, I was in a similar position, but kept on applying. Have you thought of approaching care agencies? Some pay quite well, and they are always needing good staff. Knock backs can dent your confidence, but I always looked at them as just not being the right place for me. Now I have been working for some time, keeps me occupied, feel huge job satisfaction, and get paid too!ViewDate:

Speakers Corner CommentsI would like to find out how many people out there are lonely? I mean really, do you go to bed early and watch tv in bed, because there is no one to talk to? Sometimes skip a meal, because there isn't anyone else to cook for? After over forty years of looking after family, finding yourself alone for the first time in your life is hard! I am starting to make friends, but still come home to an empty house. Anyone out there feel the same, maybe we should all talk to each other?ViewDate:

Has technology changed dating for the better? After having tried several dating sites. I have found them all to be a waste of time and money. I have chatted to countless men who have been removed from the sites for one reason or another. Then had a couple of scammers! You dont really know who you are speaking to. Some say I must have just been unlucky, but I have tried on and off for about three years, and got stung every time. So no more for me.ViewDate:

Should men and women have a different pension age?I, like many others. Find I am having to work an extra 6 yrs. I left school at fifteen, so I have already paid an extra year there. Women then had the babies and bring up the children while the husband went to work. So the wife was entitled to her pension on her husbands insurance contributions. How many other women are in the same position as myself, having divorced. Having to return to work at over sixty, to support ourselves. It has been really difficult and stressful, feel now I may have to work until I drop! With three children and seven grandchildren, who I rarely get to see, because of work. Not really how I imagined things would turn out.ViewDate:

Do you like the hairy chest look or do you prefer manscaping?I have always liked a man with a hairy chest. Would never see myself being attracted to a smoothie! -
