Brexit - what happens next?Your knowledge of international trade arrangements and the operation of the EU does not even need a postage stamp to be written in full. We owe the money as per previous agreements we made, If we renege on this, no-one will trade with us ever, We did not save the French. The USSR and the USA were mainly responsible for the victory in WWII. We kept the fight going at a vital time but no way would we ever have won by ourselves. If you know nothing better to keep quiet and look thoughtful rather than opening your mouth and proving you are ignorant and your feelings - not thoughts - irrelevant, Even better, go away and study and then speak with knowledge of some facts, not daft and baseless prejudices. You may say what you will. But equally I may treat such comments with disdain if they are absurd and based on ignorance and lies.ViewDate:

Brexit - what happens next? The level of ignorance here is frightening. People seem to think leaving is almost risk free, Insane. There is no chance of trading under WTO rules yet as there are outstanding objections to the UK doing so. By the way, the WTO is not in the slightest bit democratic. Why opt for an autocracy where we have no say when we are in a fully democratic EU (and please don't contradict me - my statement is fact)? And as for the huge damage this would inflict on our children and grandchildren, think further and repent. We have had it great. Free education, a good jobs market, free health treatment etc. Many of you want to take all this away when you have no clue about the basics of the EU or international trade agreements or the truth more generally. Clearly old age confers no inherent wisdom. I am ashamed of many of my contemporaries and agree with the young who criticise our selfishness and ignorance. Grow up as well as well as old please.
