Would you buy misshapen fruit and vegetables?Local authorities are as much to blame, they made it difficult for growers/ farmers to sell at source, this quest for everything to be graded packaged. A lot of this came about because of EU rules yet small shops on continent sell all misshapen/ ugly fruit & veg! However in defence of supermarkets parents must control their children better, so many take them shopping then allow then to commit mayhem damaging packaging bruising fruit & more. Go & spend a day in a supermarket on a wet school holiday & see for yourself what some ( not all) are allowed to do, you would be horrified, even adults cause a lot of wastage with their antics & this ultimately keeps prices high!ViewDate:

Would you buy misshapen fruit and vegetables? But that would be a bigger crime, selling ugly veg at inflated prices. We need to return to locally sourced, freshly dug or picked and Seasonal! Nothing is a luxury or special these days, it may look the same out of season but it dosen't taste the same!ViewDate:

Would you buy misshapen fruit and vegetables?Super markets must share the responsibility but so must consumers. I would love to see ALL green grocery sold loose far too much of our foodstuff of all types comes in too much packaging , most not recyclable & it's criminal!ViewDate:

Would you buy misshapen fruit and vegetables?Would prefer to buy misshapen ugly veg as they would also be cheaper. We grow some of our veg but miss the days of 'real ' farm shops selling home or locally produced green grocery!ViewDate:

Do you find the greeting "Merry Christmas" offensive?I agree but I am sure more of those offended are from the atheist groups rather than other religions!ViewDate:

Do you find the greeting "Merry Christmas" offensive?Christmas is Christmas end of! We embrace & wish other faiths on their special days & I am sure most are happy to do likewise, in fact I used to have a client from Sudan I supported & he was always more than happy to join in at Christmas. There are many white British who have no faith but still want all the festivities, that's fine but please do not take the Christ out of a Christmas!ViewDate:

A final act of kindnessUnfortunately our pets lives are shorter than ours & the parting is hard but I am a great believer that our pets can endure illness to a degree( just like us humans) but they will also tell us when their time has come. For us it has always made the decision easy to make as we have trusted in our pets. It's not easy to explain but it's never about convenience, money but about what is right for them and taking that decision because your pet has communicated it to you and it goes a long way to help with the grieving process and does provide some comfort. Some vets also have that same understanding & compassion but not all. Where possible I would also have my vet come to the house.ViewDate:

A final act of kindnessDave, take comfort I that you did the kindest act for your beloved Holly. Being with them in those final moments is so important and something we should all steal ourselves to do as difficult as it is. Each of our 4 beloved pets over the years we have been with, all but the first at home. Give yourself time to deal with the intense initial grieving then maybe in Holly's honour you can find it in your hearts to give that abundance of love to a needy canine sole from a rescue. You NEVER replace a loved pet, they are always in your hearts, but directing that love does help ease the pain. Celebrate the 14 years of trust & joy you shared and take comfort in knowing Holly had such a happy life, God Bless!
