Has your alcohol consumption increased during the pandemic?I rarely consume alcohol, and if I do it's only ever the one. I don't see the point, would rather have a really good coffee. Sadly I was married to an alcoholic which was not so good.ViewDate:

Will you be sending Christmas cards this year? This was the year I didn't send cards........ Think others felt the same. I feel that those I love I am in touch with all the year and now the once a year people really don't matter. Think all the pandemic stuff over the last year has stopped me doing things I did by rote. I sent the postage money to a charity instead and felt I had made a small difference instead.ViewDate:

Will you be joining in the Clap for Heroes on Thursday? The medical staff are under such pressure these days but I feel the clapping is 'done' Having looked at how badly the NHS is being served by the NHS admin side and the way they are always carping for money I feel we need a great overhaul again as we did some 30/40 years ago. The top bids are paid fantastic sums to organise things...... So 21 forms to allow retired medics to give injections...... Couldn't organise ppe.... Which they should have had stocks of as standard. Sorry people, rant over.ViewDate:

Should people be incentivised to get the Covid-19 vaccine? Why would you want to have a test if you are feeling well and have no symptomsViewDate:

Should people be incentivised to get the Covid-19 vaccine? The same thing with polio.. Think that was a quick vaccine. Seem to remember the adults having the same kind of conversations.......... I overheard enough, though probably didn't understand, and in those days you did as you were told, that I was expecting something awful to happen to me. Months before the expectation faded.ViewDate:

Will you take the Covid-19 vaccine when you are offered it?What???????? Heard they were an excuse to put a microchip in us all as well. Are you reading all the conspirator theories. As I read it the people in nursing homes and the NHS staff get them first.ViewDate:

Will you take the Covid-19 vaccine when you are offered it?Agree but so many more people have been in the trials than normal so surely if there were any nasty side effects we would be more aware. Don't think any of the producers of these vaccines would take any chances. Think of the costs when people sued.... LolViewDate:

Would you report your neighbours if they broke the ‘rule of six’?This is such a difficult one isn't it. Always follow the rule of six, meeting friends in Park or garden, socially distancing since out of lockdown in August. Social interaction is important for general and mental health. I live in an area of the country which has had few cases locally and, like most Saga members am of an age unlikely to go to a rave or to crowd a pub in the evenings these days. If meeting friends for lunch we follow the rules............ Would I if. Was in my early twenties, knowing it was unlikely I would be in any great danger? Especially seeing numbers of infections rising but hospitals relatively empty? There are so many conspiracy theories out there, and everyone blaming the government.... Boris in particular...... Maybe we should stop the blame game and support them? They are damned if they do and damned if they don't. So if my neighbours have a family gathering and they are 7..........no I would not. A huge gathering of any and everyone? Yes I probably would.ViewDate:

Do you feel that freedom of speech is becoming restricted in the UK?Might be useful to hear more from the young actress who organised the first BlM March and silent protest in Hyde Park because of G. F's appalling death. She has since walked away............ There are not two BlM organisations. Better to go down the All Lives Matter and resuming the mentoring and encouraging of education for All underprivileged youngsters no matter their colour. Remember there is a whole layer of underprivileged white youngsters as well.ViewDate:

Do you feel that freedom of speech is becoming restricted in the UK?Yes I do feel very much the same way. Have decided I must carry on as if I was normal....... You decide what my normal is at your peril........... I am so tired of being told how to think and act.ViewDate:

Do you feel that freedom of speech is becoming restricted in the UK?Ha try standing at Speakers Corner and tell people they are being misled.... BlM is a nasty Marxist organisation dedicated to bringing down this and every other democracy. Your free speech would still be ok? Yod would be arrested for hate speech at the moment.ViewDate:

Do you feel that freedom of speech is becoming restricted in the UK?Don't know how it happened so quickly.......... And it seems you can say what you like if you are not white. Makes me really sad...... Always been part of a diverse group and now feel restrained in what I say. I read what is going on in the papers and can scarce take it in. People losing their jobs because they are too white......... Change history because some don't want it?...... J k Rowling vilified for saying a transgender man can never be a woman....... People being afraid to say what they think because of the abuse they will receive... Ban films and books.....???????? Love social media but now I too am nervous of what I have written here. I have been shielding for 14 weeks..... Think I may just stay here.ViewDate:

Do you prefer your chocolate from the fridge or at room temperature?Hahahaha only half the week left to go then. Whole bar in one go man or do you have a little at a time. Remember my Gp once telling me it was better to eat it in one go...... Most of it would go straight through. Worked for him, always had a draweful of choc but was as thin as could be. LolViewDate:

Are we on a countdown to chaos? With the first march protesting at the horrendous death of George Floyd I had loads of sympathy. Not happy with rent a mob though. Now I know what BLM is all about.... Marksism, bring down the government, police force prisons etc.... Yes I made it my business to find out.... I wonder how many of those marching know this. I don't go with the idea they have been hard done be. They are mostly British and have been educated. I have many BAME friends and have always treated them as my friends without thinking of distinctions. Now with some I feel nervous that I may inadvertently offend. You cannot change history. Mao discovered this to his cost and a lot of damage to China. It seems to me at the moment that to get your way you scream racist very loudly and the powers that be will bow down. I will not apologise for this countries past. Tony Blair tried that one. This is a far left movement. We live in one of the most tolerant countries in the world. Don't let's loose sight of this. Quite frankly I am much more concerned with modern day slavery.ViewDate:

Will you download the tracing app when it becomes available? Some sense at last. If anyone suffered with flu like they have with covid 19 they would not be saying this. You don't recover from this to be your normal self. I do wish the authorities would be more forceful and honest about this. Flu it isn't.ViewDate:

Will you download the tracing app when it becomes available?Don't think I have the right phone....... Wasn't planning on buying a new one. If it works on my phone all well and good. Have you received the holiday refund that you are due?Not had my refund yet. Saga says if we have not rebooked by 31st July the monies will be refunded 1st August. Why the long wait I wonder......... I am shielding and goodness knows when I shall be let out of my home let alone the country. Looks like Costa del Garden this year not Costa del Sol..ViewDate:

Would you feel confident taking a holiday flight from 1st July?Oh dear. Think my sister and I have decided No Way for the foreseeable. Holiday in our own country. Plenty of places we haven't been. Weather? We can always down tools to sit in the sun now we are retired and if we pick a place here that has lots of interesting things to see and do should the weather not be good that will be fine. We took a jaunt out of season last autumn with a local coach company. It was inexpensive, food and hotel was great and we went somewhere different every day. Value for money? Excellent, at the end we decided we would do it again. Seems we are to live up to it........... Always assuming these holidays will be running.ViewDate:

How long before countries suffering...all of them.....Will be able to accept holidaymakers again? All debatable. Would like to have my money back. After all this probably won't go again anyway.ViewDate:

Should plant nurseries and growers be allowed to sell their plants?Maybe check our sheds for part packets of seeds left over from last year or the year before? My grandson, 7, planted peas, runner and board beans last weekend. He thinks he is going to feed us all........ Love him. Last year we planted a few of each in pots... Just to see. He has now expanded into a plot of his own.ViewDate:
