Would you buy your supermarket produce loose, out of packaging?Very good idea. Asda appears to be amongst the worst offenders. Plastic with everything in their stores.ViewDate:

Could you give up using wet wipes? Not sure but worth looking into. I mean cotton wool pads must keep their shape somehow but balls? This is a question that will keep me awake at night!!ViewDate:

Win a holiday for 2 to New Zealand!Got family in North Island and have visited them a couple of times. Would love to see the South Island and perhaps extend the stay to pop over to visit them again! Rules permitting of course!ViewDate:

Could you give up using wet wipes? Before wet wipes were invented we used soap and water to remove makeup and clean babies bottoms. Water is far cheaper and better for the environment. Cotton wool works just as well.ViewDate:

Take the Silversurfers grammar quiz7 out of 8. Simple mistake made or it would have been 8. Makes a change to do these sort of quizes.ViewDate:

Will you be stocking up on provisions for post-Brexit?Although I'm not stocking up on foods (due to freezing whatever we grow in the garden so I do have a fairly full freezer), I am worried about medical supplies. I have a number of food allergies so carry EpiPens at all times. And whilst I'm in this country and therefore don't have to worry too much if I have an allergic reaction (999), I do need them when traveling abroad. My doctor's surgery can only get one epiPen at the moment when ideally I should carry two. They are trying to locate more for me. Luckily, I'm not going abroad for a few months but for those who need them more often it must be a worry.ViewDate:

I'm newHi, I'm new to the Silversurfers. I'm just inside my 70's, live in South Somerset and am married to a man 4 months younger than me. So I'm not a cradle snatcher! Been married for 41 years this March. Got 4 children, 10 grand-children and 3 great grand-children who live as far away as New Zealand to USA to half mile from me. We have cruised a number of times since we retired, the best of those cruises was a month away sailing around the Caribbean islands and 1000 miles along the Amazon river and back, all done at Christmas and New Year. That was a holiday to remember. Anyone else out there from this area?ViewDate:

Countdown to BrexitNeed to get this sorted soon. Never known a subject split family opinions as much as this has done. Two years down the line and still no clear decisions made. This poem is spot on. -
