Silversurfers Book Club Spring 2016Just finished The Bones of You and thoroughly enjoyed it. I must admit it was a much lighter, easier read than I expected considering the storyline. I love Gillian Flynn and thought this would be much the same but it is in a completely different, lighter style and not at all as gripping.ViewDate:

Silversurfers Book Club Summer 2015A Man Called Ove is an absolute must read. It made me smile, laugh and cry and it reflected my husband and father and I am sure most of us silver ladies know someone with atleast half of Ove's characteristics. Please dont pass this one by.ViewDate:

Silversurfers Book Club Spring 2015I am so glad I found silversurfers and your book club as I am hopeless at choosing books to read. Just finshed The Murder Bag, my fourth from your spring recommendations. Absolutely loved all 4 books, all very different, The Murder Bag and The Book of You my favourites. I am eagerly awaiting the next in the series about DC Max Wolfe and also your summer book club choices to enjoy in the sunshine.ViewDate:

Silversurfers Book Club Spring 2015Miss Carter s War - an enjoyable read, I think it helps to be of an age to remember most of the events Marguerite lives through. A very different book to The Book of You and Elizabeth is Missing, nevertheless would still recommend it as a lighter read. I think I will go for The Murder Bag next.ViewDate:

Silversurfers Book Club Spring 2015I have just finished "Elizabeth is Missing" - what a rollercoaster of emotions. I didnt know whether to laugh or cry. My heart went out to Maud but thought Helen was amazing. Thoroughly enjoyed this, my second book club book. Miss Carters War next, can't wait.ViewDate:

Silversurfers Book Club Spring 2015Was just looking back through earlier book club recommendations and in spring 2014 I noticed The Rosie Project. I have already read this book and would say it is a must read especially if you know anyone on the autistic spectrum. As the mother of a son with autism I found this book made me laugh out loud and have a constant smile on my face. It is truly the most enjoyable book I have ever read.ViewDate:

Silversurfers Book Club Spring 2015The Book of You - This is the first book club book I have read, absolutely gripping but with a slightly disappointing ending. This is the story of every womans worst nightmare. It sharpens all your senses and makes it very difficult to put down. I am eagerly awaiting my next book 'Elizabeth is Missing' .ViewDate:

Would you buy misshapen fruit and vegetables?Good for Asda, lets hope other supermarkets follow, although fresh veg from your local market in all its odd shapes taste better. -
