Calling fellow music lovers! Some of my favorite groups from the 60's: Love Affair Dave, Dee, Dozy, Beaky, Mick & Titch Turtles Marmalade The Four Seasons The Hollies Bee Gees Moody Blues Pink Floyd Four Tops The list could go on and on. The music industry was thrown a life line with the emergence of pirate radio, London, Caroline etc. My favorite pirate radio DJ was Johnnie Walker.ViewDate:

Calling fellow music lovers!Aim to please. Lovely sunny day here this morning again. Rachmaninov's 2nd Piano Concerto is near the top of my list classical pieces but 60's pop was very much my era too. So who were your favorite bands back then?ViewDate:

Just joined so I'm introducing myself.Hi to you all My wife died recently and I find myself alone at the age of 65. This is not the sort of future I anticipated a year ago. I'm alone in the sense I am the only one in the house now. I have good friends and a loving family but it's not quite a same. I still work - run my own business - and that keeps me occupied a lot of the time. However, I'm used to taking 4 or 5 holidays a year touring mainly England and Wales and I cannot imagine doing that on my own. Truth is I miss female companionship and would dearly love to find someone possibly in the same situation as me to share those holidays with. Maybe just chatting here would be a good place to start. GrievingHello Pee Know exactly how you feel - I lost my wife in December and it's hell on earth. This is not how I expected the future to be, she had only just turned 64 and died the day before my 65th birthday. It's very tough. If you want to talk privately just send me a message.
