Does the UK need another political party?MP’s always have been and always will be, self serving; more concerned with their own career paths than the welfare of the people. Not surprisingly, having been told, for generations, that they are there to do what they see is best for us, not our bidding, they now tell us that they need to go back to the people. They also have the audacity to suggest that the voting age should be lowered to 16, so the poor little snowflakes (who missed out on the referendum vote) can have a say in matters that will affect their future. Why not 10, for God sake? Or 6 even? I will give you that some 16 year olds are incredibly perceptive and, in some cases, have a better grasp of politics, than their elders but I would also suggest that the majority are more concerned with their latest tattoo, their latest selfie (tongue poking out or pouting) and that their only interest in whether we leave the EU is whether they have to pay tuition fees (remember, Corbyn DID say that they would cancel all tuition fees, even existing ones) and if they will have to queue at customs. The Independent Group? Just more of the same. See how quickly they return to their original parties, when the dust has settled. To quote Jay Leno: “Politics is just show business for ugly people.” (emphasis on ‘show business)ViewDate:

English GrammarLanguage is volatile, which is self evident by virtue of the fact that we don’t talk like William Shakespeare, any more. What depresses me is the fact that this volatility, is from the streets, upwards, so it is incumbent on our education system that we maintain a certain standard, as was the case in my youth. PLEASE. For the sake of my sanity!ViewDate:

English GrammarNuffink. Should of. Bu''er. Australian inflection. Starting every sentence with "So". The English language is going to hell in a handbasket and the authorities, (Teachers who shouldn't be let within a 100 miles of an infant. Teaching assistants; what a joke that title is. Politicians. Councillors.) are all helping it on its way. What next? Grunting?
