Is it realistic to expect over 70s to remain in their homes for 4 months?A lot of elderly people live with their children, so how would that work? A lot of elderly people are living on their own, so how would that work?ViewDate:

Is Labour's new WASPI promise credible?Sovereignty does not apply to EU membership, that is totally different, we do not have sovereignty as long as we are ruled by the ECJ. (European Court of Justice). Sovereignty is about making your own Laws, not accepting the ECJ rulings and laws.ViewDate:

Is Labour's new WASPI promise credible? Please clarify the Trade tariffs imposed if we trade outside the EU, this is the Barrier imposed by the EU to any non-EU trade deal. Making it near impossible to trade outside of the Block.ViewDate:

Is Labour's new WASPI promise credible?Corbyn is a communist, and as such has a record of voting against any defence's bill. He is anti sovereignty and wants to make the poor poorer with his views, anyway at the end of the day Corbyn is just a figurehead, incapable of making any decisions. John Macdonald is the force behind labour.ViewDate:

Is Labour's new WASPI promise credible?Sorry, you are wrong, the directive came from the EU. They are the governing body, not the UK parliament. We have no choice, the only choice we have is setting our own tax and national insurance rates, have you not heard of the hefty fines if we do not implement these directives? We cannot even set our own tariffs on goods from outside the EU. That is part of the membership.ViewDate:

Is Labour's new WASPI promise credible?Labour has made promises in the past, and as a consequence nearly bankrupt the country along with introducing high tax and national insurance contributions for everyone. Remember the rich will leave the country, and that means mass unemployment and definitely no money tree, Just a very large national debt again for the next party to clear up.ViewDate:

Is Labour's new WASPI promise credible?Have you or will you have made the number of contributions required by the time you retire. Under current terms, you need at least 35 years of contributions. It's not about the retirement age, it's about your contributions. This entitles you to a full state pension. For example, if you started work at 18 and worked full time for 35 years (with no break) you would have amassed enough by the age of 53 if you take a break between it will take longer, therefore it could take you up to the set retirement age to qualify. Don't take this the wrong way I am all for the people who have made enough contributions by the age of 65 to be able to retire and draw a pension in their own rights. Did you also know that married women who have not contributed to a pension cannot get one?ViewDate:

Should over 70s be banned from voting on the country's future?Over 70's have the wisdom of living through the various different ways the parties behave, I would say ban 16-21-year-olds, as they are still very much politically green.ViewDate:

Do you support Boris's decision to suspend Parliament? What about the TITP agreement being arranged between the EU and America, which incidentally Trump had refused to sign !! this is more of a danger than Britain entering a Trade Agreement with the USA, And the plans published recently of consolidating all the EU health service under the EU flag, that would certainly get rid of our NHS !!!ViewDate:

Do you support Boris's decision to suspend Parliament?Working hours rules are a joke. Minimum basic wage is a joke. all designed to line the pockets of the big companies, not give the workers a living wage and time for family life, most work is Part-time or unsociable hours. Why do you think we have a shortage of babies being born?ViewDate:

Do you support Boris's decision to suspend Parliament?International Peacekeeping is NATO, not the EU, We are and always will be members. I certainly do not want my children/Grandchildren conscripted into an EU Army. FPTP could possibly be improved on with a PR system, but the politicians have to follow through the majority vote of their constituents, which is not happening at the moment, EWTD has been improved on by our government and not the EU, Remember we rubber-stamp all the new directives from the EU, and choose whether to accept them or not. We are a market leader in EWDT. Child poverty is a thing we or any other country will never eradicate. Sadly the priorities of our younger generation have changed the dynamics of Family life, and no amount of money being thrown into charities etc. is going to alter this fact. Reduced food labelling? Why do we have the British Standards Agency, if you are saying the EU is responsible for giving us a better standard, Again the British food agency is held in strong regard worldwide, and has enhanced the EU directative. On a final note, we do not have to consume any product or accept any product we do not want, No sale makes it disapear.!ViewDate:

Do you support Boris's decision to suspend Parliament?I did not say Boris was truthful, I said all politicians. I do not think Boris is a savour of Brexit, and we will leave the EU, but I think he may have a very good chance of getting the right deal for Britain, and all the actions of the Remain party were and are the cause of the EU digging their proverbial heel and insisting on Mays Withdrawal agreement, we can do so much better than become a servant of the EU. We did not vote to be part of the EEC, we voted to join the Single market as such for the sole purpose of trading, We were taken further into the EU by unscrupulous politicians, who rubber-stamped everything without consulting the British Public. Brexiteers are not fearful of a Peoples Vote, but Peoples Vote's aim is to achieve us remaining in the EU and undemocratic. The car industry is failing, due to May's insistence on Electric cars, and are moving out of Britain, to obtain Markets in more lenient countries. Our system does not give us the vote of a Prime minister, and never has, that is up to the Party and their members to appoint and remove. The majority voted the conservative party as the best party for Britain, and remember Labour left a very large deficit I agree with you we do not have a party in a powerful position to please all the people all the time, and as long as we have parties with diverse ideology, we will win some and lose some, that's democracy. and usually works quite well, but sadly as I said before Politicians today are not thinking of the good for the country, they are thinking what the country can do for them.ViewDate:

Do you support Boris's decision to suspend Parliament?NHS millions, was an example, remember he said could not would, This has been proved in court that he did not lie. Do you honestly think any politician cares about the people of this country? The democratic vote was leave, a deal was not a vision of a brexiteer, this has been proven at least 3 times, politicians invoked Art 50, and voted to uphold the vote. Wee Nicola has never wanted to be part of Britain, but is willing to take the handouts, and run a deficit, which no doubt our hard-earned taxes will have to cover. Have you looked at the landholdings of Great Britain, try googling it, I think you will be very surprised. The people of Wales voted unanimously to leave the EU, This is just politicians not upholding the mandate they were given. What are you so frightened of?ViewDate:

Do you support Boris's decision to suspend Parliament? So you want your kids to join the EU army? So you want your kids to have no say in the running of the Country? So you want your kids to grow up in poverty because all our hard-earned taxes are going to the EU? Name the benefits of staying in the EU, that couldn't have been achieved by being a free country, please.ViewDate:

Do you support Boris's decision to suspend Parliament? While I support Boris Johnson in this action and having read his reasons, Boris has stated publicly a new party and a new agenda to discuss, I feel this is not Brexit related. This is to install a new controlling power with a new Prime minister. The rest is scaremongering, surely if he wanted to stop Brexit, he would have done it to the 1st November. Think about this.ViewDate:

Is going digital isolating elderly people? My husband has been a manual worker all his life, hence very limited use of technology, and he despairs at the banks and government forcing him to use a mobile phone to get text alerts. He is in his 70's and is finding it very difficult to use modern technology.
