Is Labour's new WASPI promise credible?Am no lover of fence sitter Corbyn ( he is only slightly better than the immoral Neil dodging Johnson ) but this issue highlights clearly that the current situation is totally irrational and should be put right asap ! Pensions in the disunited Kingdom lag well behind our more sensible EU counterparts To delay payment of pension to women is inexcusable .ViewDate:

Is Labour's new WASPI promise credible?Apparently Labour's plan to compensate the WASPI women will cost some £ 58 Billion . Bojo's retort that we have no money tree to cover this can be answered - found by: cancelling HS2 £ 80 Billion , Trident £ 100 Billion North/South London Crossrail ( £ ?? ) and not leaving the EU ( £ 50 Billion ) Paid four times over ! Let sanity prevail .ViewDate:

Is Labour's new WASPI promise credible?Glad to see that this most relevant cause has been brought to the surface . Of course there is no " bottomless pit " of bucks to fall back on although BoJo and his cohorts are just a s bad if not worse than the fence sitting Corbynites when it comes to promising never ending goodies to the " gullible " populous ! Scrap the utterly useless nuclear " deterrents " and be realistic in this day and age and rely on conventional weapons . The money is there Wilf - just not been allocated to the right cause !ViewDate:

Will you tune in to the first General Election televised debate? This question is old hat ! The relevant one was the four leader chat on the Beeb last week , Corbyn was better than previous whilst Johnson seemed to regurgitate the same old tired clichés . Sturgeon gave a cracker and her answers were very relevant despite not being involved in English matters . Afraid Jo Swinson looks like a loser thanks to her involvement in that dreadful coalition ,ViewDate:

Free BroadbandArchie seems to have difficulty seeing the connection between the BBC and free broadband . Both are sources of communication Currently the BBC has come under considerable criticism for its distortion and bias in its news and current affairs broadcasting . I players and alternative sources world wide via Broadband are vital to the democratic process .ViewDate:

Will you tune in to the first General Election televised debate?Hobson's choice between Mutt and Jeff aka Johnson and Corbyn - a couple of political plonkers! Current Tory Cabinet has more millionaires in its number since 1815 yet their lack of direction and acumen sees poverty and food kitchens at a shocking record high,Wishy washy Corbyn is a fence sitter extraordinaire who should have killed the cheat's charter that is Brexit .ViewDate:

Will you tune in to the first General Election televised debate?Well said WinR !Am afraid neither of the participants in tonight's debate are attuned to the world north of Carlisle ! Corbyn is a fence sitter extraordinaire . We rejected the crazy Brexit proposal in every county in the country and yet he cannot say whether he is for or against . Johnson is totally unreliable A womaniser and a person who lost his job for telling "porkies " . He may have struck a cord with the southern elderlies but the man is a chancer , Concentrate in reducing the soup kitchens that his muckers have spawned . Allow a proper movement and entry of European labour to save a multitude of industries that are already suffering through the ill conceived schemes spawned by Brexit and the Brexiteers ,ViewDate:

Free BroadbandGreat idea and the sooner the better ! We are currently being brain washed by a biased Beeb who are not only male dominated but are also so politically motivated. Any news item which is not to the liking of its right wing manipulators is suitably doctored to " accord " !ViewDate:

Did Prince Andrew's Newsnight interview make his predicament better or worse? The guy is wading deeper and deeper into the mire the more he stutters and stammers in an attempt to justify the mess he is in , Why stay more than one night in the home of a convicted paedophile and say he was trying to end their friendship .! As they would say in down town Glasgow - " chuck us a tattie ! "ViewDate:

Do you support Boris's decision to suspend Parliament? That Wilf is a matter of opinion ! Requires a crash course in Irish and Scottish history and a realisation that the so called United Kingdom is supposedly a union of equal partners and not the opinions of his small clique ,ViewDate:

Do you support Boris's decision to suspend Parliament?Well said Goldengirl2 ! So sad so many wrinklies have been deluded into believing Bojo's webs of deceit and dangerous lies . Do you support Boris's decision to suspend Parliament? The referendum on European Union membership was supposedly advisory which has conveniently been forgotten by more than a few ! It seems to have been overlooked in a few quarters that the United Kingdom comprises four countries Totally wrong to adjudge the result on a numerical basis The English voting population is far greater than the other free causing a non acceptable imbalance to the result . As a Scot I have no doubt of the outcome 62 % to Remain as opposed a to a mere 38% wishing to leave All 32 council areas in the country voted Remain . More than a little convincing me thinks . Unlikely however to sway the biased and prejudiced views of far right wing cohorts of the quite dreadful Boris Johnson !ViewDate:

Better still resign !ViewDate:

Shooting in the USALet us get straight to the point ! These tragedies can be put down to one specific weakness in US society and that is the complete failure to have a credible gun control system, The one country to lead the way in sensible reform is New Zealand . Sensibility must prevail !ViewDate:

Speakers Corner CommentsYou seem to have missed the point .The answer is historical and not hysterical . We in Scotland are comfier being aligned to our European buddies than a seriously flawed UK government . The imbalance of Westminster seats in relation to the 4 constituent nations or principalities is a flaw and unacceptable in present society .ViewDate:

Boris Anyone? - [DELETED_MEMBER]Disappointing BBC PM Debate .Total lack of control by a somewhat out of depth presenter Emily Maitlis who totally failed to manage a plethora of crosstalk and hogging the camera by more than a few of the participants . Boris , not the best orator at the best of times , said not a lot ( which probably suited him on this occasion ) . Not a good night for Rory Stewart who was ganged up upon by the other participants more than once . All in all a rather pointless exerciseViewDate:

Will you be voting in the European Elections this month?Very satisfactory result in Scotland The SNP swept the polls winning every local authority area except Orkney and Shetland and emphasising to one and all that we are European and Brexit is a bummer . Semenya ruling fair and reasonableSad decision Y but really inevitable , Think the difference between physical and mental abilities very relevant , Caster S is the equivalent of a 3 litre car competing against 2 litre jobs . Seems a nice person and certainly not her fault but sport such as athletics must be a level playing field . Reminds me of watching races at our local Highland Games when the athletic events were handicapped events with the starting place past dependent on past performances. !ViewDate:

Petitions & BrexitBrexit is a real bummer ! More and more of the population have realised how shallow and politically inept are those in May's Cabinet . If perchance the Brexit deal flounders through the inevitable will occur with Ireland becoming reunited and Scotland becoming independent and staying / rejoining the EU . Be warned !ViewDate:

A QUICK GUIDE TO HELP YOU ON YOUR WAYHi Emiiano Greetings to you in Texas Plenty of blab on this web but sadly lacking very much in live topics with a political agenda . A perusal of current topics along these line shows a total lack of interest with numerous sites having had no responses for two three or even four years ! Trump has been scheduled for a state visit in the summer . Not likely to receive a very welcoming reception I feel - he seems as popular here as our quite poisonous Prime Minister ! Room for change .and a new topic !ViewDate:

Is a bad deal better than remaining in the European Union? We have seen listed a number of points that the Brexiteers believe is reasoning for leaving Europe . It fails to realise the following positive and significant benefits that we enjoy . 1. Freedom to work live or retire anywhere in a European Union country 2. Holidays in Europe easier and safer including European Health Care 3. Sustains millions of jobs 4. Our businesses depend on it 5. Economic influenceViewDate:

Is a bad deal better than remaining in the European Union? There is a general " leave alone " attitude prevailing amongst the Westminster based parties which sadly tends to ignore the fact that the Good Friday Agreement is currently in danger of being allowed of falling into disrepair Sadly the blindly incompetent Mrs May has a total lack of knowledge of the history of Ireland bribing and attempting to gain support of the UDP - narrow minded biased bigots who support that repulsive bunch of religious bigots the Orange Order and their off shoots the Apprentice Boys whose poisonous behaviour towards fellow Christians is quite repulsive and who this Easter week end will parade through streets in the UK .in their silly suits and bowler hats ! Disgraceful !ViewDate:
