Would you like to see health test results online?Yes, please! My health is primarily my concern and having to wait weeks to see a GP or test results at the hospital, it would be wonderful to have access to them online. We do have online access for many other medical needs - so, why not have the option to access our test results?ViewDate:

Do you agree with the TV licence changes for over-75s?No, I do not! However, the BBC needs money to do whatever they must do so ... Why not increase the TV Licence by an equitable percentage for those who are under 75? Why not make those who are young pay just a little but toward those who are heading for the sunset? Why not fine those "thieves" who get a TV Licence in the name of the elderly family member and then allow the family to enjoy TV for free?ViewDate:

Will you try Cadbury's new 'diet' chocolate bar?Why not? Products are created and then sold to satisfy the needs and wants of consumers. That is business. That is profit. That is life.ViewDate:

Do A-levels put students under too much stress? As a grandparent, I am sick and tired of this so-called "stress" issue that students are facing. If students had set study times when they put away their iPad, mobile phone, computer games and the rest and studied they would be able to manage the so-called "stress" issue. Priorities are to be educational and nothing else. Make time to relax, yes, but stop whining and get down to study - just as we used to do many years ago and as some of us continued to do while working to support our families.ViewDate:

Do you support Boris's decision to suspend Parliament?Politicians have been singularly and collectively unable to deliver the results of the referendum. If parliamentarians were in a business they could be fired for an inability to sell the product. Boris, with all his faults and failings, wants to deliver on a democratic vote. There are times when we need the strong arm of action to act against the indecision of those who do not respect the will of the majority of voters. The problem has roots - not in Boris - but in the need for our country to have a WRITTEN CONSTITUTION and a fairly structured, reformed system of voting. We will receive the judgment of their Lordships soon. Go for it Boris!ViewDate:

Are you fed up with the media hounding Harry and Meghan or do you think it is justified?Megan and Harry are a normal couple caught up in a ridiculous and outdated system - the monarchy. It is sad that two young people cannot get their way out of it. However, the media needs money to support its duty to us the readers. Perhaps, then, when a source keeps prying into the private lives of others we might consider another source for our news. of course, that is IF we, readers, do not get gain some sort of vicarious pleasure out of reading about the lives of others.ViewDate:

Should Strictly introduce same-sex couples? Are the judges gay/lesbian.bisexual/transgender/heterosexual? Are they appointed on their merits or sexuality? I fail to understand why contestants have to pass the apparent litmus test of "heterosexuality". What is the underlying reason for the debate?ViewDate:

Should Strictly introduce same-sex couples?Hi Lionel ... the use of BIGOTED (as used) referred to an attitude. Sometimes, when a "well-meaning member" writes comments that are insulting to those who happen to be "gay", they must expect their publicly published attitude to be challenged. Freedom of speech and all that! Lionel, we "well-meaning members" are also imperfect human beings. Criticisms of our publicly expressed opinions are justified and, will cause reactions. After all, you have taken pen to paper to express your feelings about what I wrote - although you appear to have missed the point. Lionel, if our public behaviour or published opinions reflect a bigoted outlook then we need to reflect and understand how our words paint us as people/members. Our history drips with the blood of bigotry, does it not. Have we not learnt our lesson? Nonetheless, the era of "gay bashing" in any form is not acceptable. Those of us who stand by others who have a different sexual orientation will continue to confront publicly expressed bigotry. People are DIFFERENT - we need to accept this (at least publicly!) Enough is enough!ViewDate:

Should Strictly introduce same-sex couples?Sorry, Jorid. We are aeons apart. I enjoy being in a world that brings justified changes and respects the right of people whose gender choices are able to find expression in a better-informed society. Mind you, I like your idea of dancing horses - have you ever seen the Lipizzaner horses in action and, of course, the judges are honest individuals (but I have no clue about the honourable judges' gender references).ViewDate:

Should Strictly introduce same-sex couples?Good heavens! What on earth has a person's sexuality got to do with other people? Since when does dancing, for example, demand a quiz on sexuality? Happily, most educated and informed people have advanced from the Dark Ages of bigoted judgementalism that tries to deny people being who they are! It is high time that prejudice against same-gender couples was dumped in the rubbish bin. Let us dance!!!!!!ViewDate:

Happily, too, we will be moved from reliance on superstition and be able to seek refuge in researched facts!
