Barometer Survey shows the over 50s have strong views about BrexitIt would appear the gremlins are at it again - or is it us oldies making mistakes, as I have responded to you when the comments came from 'Lindzy' - but you should edit the photo and be proud of your age, and do read Dan's information and all the true facts. Cheers! I'm off to get my Horlicks and put my fluffy slippers on before the long slog next week.ViewDate:

Barometer Survey shows the over 50s have strong views about BrexitI was going to respond to your reply to my post until I saw that you are posting as a 72 year old man with a 40 ish photo. Truly honest! So, all I will say is that you would do well to read everything Dan Hanan has written about the EU and why we should leave. I was at his house today and discovered that Brexit have stuck to their given budget for electioneering, whilst the 'ins' have overspent by app. £13 million, some £5m from donations, the balance from - yep, you guessed it - the public purse, aka the British taxpayers. Hope you make the right decision. LEAVE!ViewDate:

Barometer Survey shows the over 50s have strong views about BrexitBefore you vote - or abstain (please don't) - can I suggest you Google Dan Hanan, MEP, a most amazing political figure who is the MEP for the South East of England and who has worked tirelessly on the Brexit campaign. You'll find all you need to know - the truth - in order to make a decision. He's asking us to get him his P45, and his insight into the working of Brussels is astonishing. I was with the family today and learnt that each camp was allocated £7million for their campaign. Brexit stuck to that, yet the 'in' camp have actually spent £20 million on theirs. Shocking. Even worse is that about £5m was donated and the remainder somehow came from the public purse - yes, that's us, the taxpayers money.ViewDate:

Barometer Survey shows the over 50s have strong views about BrexitI'm mad that the BBC dictated who should appear in the debates from the Brexit camp. The very best person for the job, my MEP - and yes, Boris, I do know who he is - was prevented from taking part because they knew he'd wipe the floor with the 'in' campaign. As an MEP he knows only too well how corrupt Brussels is, and, on his blog, is begging people to give him his P45. Listen up folks - on his 1st day as an MEP he was asked for his flight ticket and received a cheque for £800 - yes, London to Brussels, £800 - the rate worked out, not from the actual cost, but from the unelected EU officials who have set a 'per kilometre' rate. He was disgusted both then and now. So am I. Vote Brexit and we will, once again, rule the waves.ViewDate:

Who would make a better President - Donald or Hillary?I hope all those here who favour Trump will watch 'The Debates', whatever time they're on. That is when you will all see he has absolutely no knowledge of politics, both domestic and worldwide. When it comes to stating his policies he will be revealed as a complete numpty. He will attempt to sidestep serious comment and just rant on, swearing and breathing fire, but nothing of substance will come out of this ignorant man's mouth.ViewDate:

Would you prefer the date of Easter to be fixed? If it's 'planning ahead' you need, how does buying your yearly calendar/diary in December sound? Easter is marked on it. Does that help? Wonder what Muslims would say if it was suggested that Ramadan be moved to a fixed date, or Jews being told Shabbat can be whenever you fancy....etc. etc. etc.ViewDate:

Should the World Cup be held in Qatar in 2022?Forgot to mention to the female fans - you'd better get shopping for your Abaya and Headscarf! There are lots of lovely designs and you can have any colour as long as it's BLACK - thanks Henry Ford!!!!!! The religious police will be happy to take you to a little room if you breach the female dress code, that's if they haven't decided just to whack you with their sticks. And, make sure you stand at the back of a lift. That's so you don't allow a man to look at your derriere! True!!! Order your food before prayer times or you'll have to wait until it's over! Finally, if it's Ramadan during the world cup you won't be allowed to eat or drink in public, which includes NO sucking on ice cubes at the hotel swimming pool bar, if it's open for use at all. Have fun!ViewDate:

Is it ever acceptable for a man to be unfaithful to his wife?I've seen, and been on the receiving end of. serious and serial adultery. Wrong, wrong, wrong! The misery is desperately sad and the pain enormous, so much so in my case that I stopped dating more than a decade ago and, unless I meet Liam Neeson (who would fall in love with me in a breath), I shall continue as a single but happy spinster. So choose your partner wisely!ViewDate:

Should cannabis be legalised for medicinal reasons?I haven't voted because I'm very torn by this issue. I knew so many recreational users when I worked for an airline. When abroad they would become irritable, unpredictable and jumpy without their 'fix'. I knew someone who smuggled it into Dubai - now if that's not a case of addiction I don't know what is. A friend suffers really badly from restless leg syndrome and is desperate for it to be legally prescribed on the NHS. I take (with my GP's knowledge) between 6 & 9 painkillers a day, but I would never take Cannabis, ever!ViewDate:

Barometer Survey shows the over 50s have strong views about BrexitA friend of mine is an M.E.P and heading the OUT campaign, knowing full well that he will become unemployed if we vote to leave! That speaks volumes. Once all the campaign literature is available (soon) we will all be able to make up our minds by weighing up all the facts. It's good that some people are waiting and, of those who have made their minds up one way or another, I urge you to read everything you can get your hands on, then make your decision based on ALL the facts.ViewDate:

Should smoking be brought back into pubs?Hi Dragon. Phew - longest sentence I've ever read. I loathe drunks in pubs. Letching, foul mouthed, touchy feely drunks who reek of stale beer. I also loathe live bands in pub bars - far too loud for conversation so to be avoided like the plague. They should be in the village hall. I don't go there anymore. Seems like the only sensible answer is to restrict alcohol to 2 drinks per person, then the above won't offend. You see...............2 sides to every story. Live and let live I say.ViewDate:

Should smoking be brought back into pubs? When the French had to have a 'designated' smoke free area they put a table and two chairs in the basement! I hate the anger here. It is so negative. Of course smokers can be accommodated. A room can be put aside for them but, so staff aren't affected, they should order drinks from the main bar - once they've put their ciggy out. Years ago children weren't allowed in pubs and, instead, sat in the car, or outside, with a bottle of pop and bag of crisps. What outcry there'd be if that was reinstated! I strongly believe that everyone should be considered.ViewDate:
