Is Labour's new WASPI promise credible?I am 65 born July 1954 and not getting my Pension till 6th May 2020 and have 48 years fully contributions. I never received any notification about my SPA being increased, I found out from a Friend just before I was due to get it in 2014. My Husband passed away almost 6 years ago just after his 60th Birthday so never received any State Pension himself. In the last couple of months I have been told that I am entitled to £19.00 a week of his State Pension, I am however unable to claim it till I receive my own State Pension, its sick. Also I am now unable to work and disabled, so when he passed away I was given 12 months Widows Benefit, but they then stopped my ESA for 12 months.until the Widows Benefit ceased. I cannot believe that 50s Women are not willing to accept what has been offered by Labour, BJ has made it quite clear he will give us nothing, even though he said during his election campaign that he would do all he could. I follow politics and know that Jeremy Corbyn and Labour have been wanting to support us for a couple of years, so how people can say it is just a vote bribe is ridiculous. I am not in the position to turn any offer down, I now have no husband to help with the bills etc. Also there is always the chance that we will win our appeal, in fact I would think that with all the support we are receiving from Cross Party MPs & in particular the offer from Labour, it could even strengthen our case. It is not The Labour Party that have let us 50s Women down it was those two Judges and I know where my vote will be going. BJ has again today been proved to be a liar and untrustworthy, with what has come out about the NHS documents and even now BJ is denying it.
