Should motorists be fined for parking on the pavement? It depends on the width of pavement and of the road. There are times when pavement parking is safer for all, but obviously not when there is insufficient space for mobility scooters, prams and pushchairs to pass on pavement beside the car.ViewDate:

Will you watch the Sussexes' Oprah interview?I agree with what they would hope for ..... but they are going the wrong way about it by seeking publicity. I assume you were joking! The best way to encourage the press to go away would be to stay out of the spotlight and just get on with their lives without inviting comment and not push themselves into the public arena.ViewDate:

Will you watch the Sussexes' Oprah interview?I guess I'll be interested in the highlights (I wish I would not be!), but no way would I sit through the whole interview. I thought they wanted to move out of the spotlight. They must be stupid to imagine this will help their situation.ViewDate:

Win a 12 month Mixed Box Book subscription!I was drawn into this offer by recognising Patricia Wilson's name on a book spine in your first pic. I've read a coupe of hers on my Kindle - highly recommended.ViewDate:

Will you be downloading the new tracing app today?I disagree that when & where is irrelevant. According to BBC News link I just found https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/technology-54250736 it would have to be 3 x 5 minutes at 2 metres or closer (or longer further apart) to get the points to be notified, but clearly BlueTooth cannot know if you and people around you were wearing masks or had walls between you. Being retired we don't get out much, do observe rules and would know if time and date were supplied IF it is possible that we may have been around other people. I am pleased to see from this link that self isolation is not mandatory only advisory from app notifications, but more information would help. Whilst I trust my integrity to follow rules, I am not so sure about others!ViewDate:

Will you be downloading the new tracing app today?I am reluctant to download the app because I understand that you are not advised when & where you were clocked as being in close contact with someone who has tested positive and for how long. On this basis you cannot decide if you are really at risk. I believe I know of everyone I am in close contact with for 15 minutes and if given this information I would know if I had a mask on, was behind a screen or wall from other people, etc which bluetooth does not know. My husband has downloaded the app, so apart from when I'm out shopping alone in a mask & avoiding contact, we would be together at most times. IF he was notified then I could be extra careful, but would still be able to do a weekly shop without my movement being curtailed by a computer algorithm.
