Are you planning an Intergenerational holiday this year?Unfortunately one of my daughter's is a single parent and can't afford a holiday, so we have a week away which is a treat for us as we don't get to see her and my granddaughter too often. We usually have one or two city breaks just for ourselves.ViewDate:

Do you buy supermarket own-label brand or Heinz baked beans?I find Heinz beans are too soft and the sauce has no tang. Since Covid I buy trays of Branston baked beans from Costco.ViewDate:

Will you send Christmas cards this year in view of postal strikes and increased postage costs?I love giving and receiving cards but at 69p for a 2nd class stamp, it’s just too expensive. Only cards for close family will be posted and those for friends will be be hand delivered.ViewDate:

Will you be opening your door to trick-or-treaters this Halloween?I used to but haven't done so since Covid. I used to put up a poster of a witch declaring that only small children would receive treats and rarely had any older kids/teenagers knocking.ViewDate:

Strictly’s Giovanni Pernice hails ‘big brother’ Anton Du BekeI saw Gio and Anton in Him and Me last night and their bond is clear to see. The show itself is a perfect blend of song, dance and comedy. Not only were the leads wonderful but the troupe was amazingly talented too.ViewDate:

Win a Gtech Pro!Fingers crossed! I could really do with a lightweight cleaner for my loft conversion. My Henry is far too heavy to carry up the tight, winding stairs.ViewDate:

Is August too soon for shops to be stocking Christmas products?I understand that retailers want to start promotions as early as possible but starting at the end of September would still give them three months and would also help those who need to spread the cost. What really drives me mad are the people that put up their decorations too early. When I was a child in the 60's, virtually everyone put theirs up the week before. Now I see them in early November - it seems to be a contest as to who can put them up first. I wish there was a law stating that Christmas decorations should not be put up earlier than 1st December.ViewDate:

Step back in time: to 1970I was 11 in 1970 and remember wearing flared jeans and a lot of cheesecloth. I also recall seeing Dave Edmunds outside Richmond Station in multicoloured satin trousers!ViewDate:

Which famous landmark would you most like to visit?I'm lucky enough to have celebrated my 25th wedding anniversary in USA visiting both the Statue of Liberty and the Grand Canyon. Can really recommend the latter. We flew in a helicopter down to the floor of the canyon, took a boat trip along the Colorado river then flew up to the Skywalk before heading back in the helicopter. Absolutely wonderful!ViewDate:

Is Chris Evans a suitable replacement presenter for Top Gear?It doesn't matter who takes over. Clarkson, like him or not, is the show. I really don't think that even an engaging petrolhead such as Chris Evans will manage to save it and as for the suggestion of Carol Vorderman...give me strength!
