The Wild Rose at DawnI am delighted to find your blog. Your farm is so idyllic. Thanks for sharing. I am writing from Alberta, Canada. We have a small farm with horses, cats and dogs. We used to have a full farm in Manitoba. Our children are grown and working from home in Calgary during this crisis. I can understand the feelings of parents trying to suddenly educate their kids at home. Perhaps the kids have some art they would like to share? Over here the kids are just doing what they can and are joining their parents in getting jobs done. That is an education too especially on the farm. Continuing with reading and writing skills is important. Kids are often great at writing about their everyday experiences and often it is of great interest to others who may not be able to have the same experience. Enjoy your beautiful farm and be encouraged that the marketplace will still be wanting your farm products. Best wishes for the kids and yourselves during your farm work. The farmers have been busy here getting done what they can in the fields. We are in the SW near Waterton National Park and the fields are incredibly huge with big pivots for watering from the canals which run from the reservoirs of the glacial waters. Our 6th cousin from the UK came over to visit us last September and he was surprised to see such big spaces. But our hearts melt when we see the gorgeous countryside of the UK. Our family had farmland there years ago. Keep safe and cozy during this unusual time. Everyone doing their part including the kids makes a big difference to the world right now. Resilience is important now. Thanks so much for sharing your beautiful photos and blog. Best wishes for your family, Trese
