Would you be happy to visit Europe this summer?IMO we should try to holiday in the UK this year in order to repair some of the financial damage Covid-19 has done to the economy. I know people enjoy their hols abroad, but for this year, we can do a lot of good spending our money at homeViewDate:

What's your favourite scary film? The Haunting 1963 version. Starring Julie Harris, Richard Johnson, Claire Bloom and Russ Tamblyn. Really terrifying film with terrific performance from Julie HarrisViewDate:

Line of Duty - share your theories as the plot thickensIf anyone wants to watch this series from the beginning you can access them on BBC i-player. Over the past couple of months I've watched from Series One through to what is available of Series Six. I'm now up-to-date and looking forward to next Sunday's episode.ViewDate:

Are M&S right to sue Aldi over Cuthbert the copycat of Colin the Caterpillar? On the face of it M & S seem very petty. However, the saying goes 'there's no such thing as bad publicity'. It would be fun to have a publicised tasting ceremony. Let the children decide which cake tastes bestViewDate:

Has lockdown made you more likely to shop online in the future?I put on a mask and ventured forth to the local shops thinking I would spend a few pounds to help the failing economy. I'm sorry to say I found the experience unpleasant, queuing for entrance into the shop, having to remember not to get too close to people, and being unable to exchange pleasantries. I'm not anxious to go again until something approaching the relaxed atmosphere we used to know is able to be restored. I hate being confined to home, but it appears there is no alternative for me, yet.ViewDate:

Free TV licence for over-75s to be means-tested from August 1I am in the same position but I like the BBC as it is i.e. without adverts. It's been invaluable to me during the last weeks of lockdown. I've downloaded many items which I've enjoyed watching. I'll pay up and look cheerful, after all it amounts to a cup of fancy coffee per weekViewDate:

Free TV licence for over-75s to be means-tested from August 1I thought if income was very low it is possible to claim pensioner credit and anyone claiming that gets a free licenseViewDate:

Will you be visiting your local pub this weekend?I like to go to a pub with friends for a meal. However, how can you have a spontaneous outing when you have to book in advance, give details of where you live in case the occasion arises when you have to be traced, and keep at least one metre from each other with the minimum amount of conversation? It sounds to me like a recipe for a miserable outing and until the position improves, preferably with a vaccine available, I will continue to take my evening meal alone in front of the TV.ViewDate:

Will you be venturing to the shops this week?I know how you feel. What would be have done without grocery deliveries via the Internet. Enjoy your new kettleViewDate:

Will you be venturing to the shops this week?I wouldn't want to go to the shops at the moment as I don't think this virus is finished with us yet. I don't want to queue for a beefburger or fish and chips that I can cook myself for a fraction of the cost. Buying clothes and shoes would be awkward and in any case, I have a wardrobe full of garments so do I really need anymore? I've been grocery shopping on-line and will probably continue to do so. Over the past few weeks I've become content with a simpler lifestyle. Will I be venturing into the shops - no I'd much rather read a book in my garden, or go for a walk along the prom.ViewDate:

Should Dominic Cummings resign?I think the difference to the other politicians who broke lockdown rules is Coronavirus. As far as we know he was the only one who risked the spreading of the disease to other countiesViewDate:

Should Dominic Cummings resign?IMO I don't think Johnson can function without him, so he will keep his job.
