Will you be reading Grey this summer? If anyone wants to read erotic fiction for women, then the books by Anais Nin, a Frenchwoman writing in about the 1930s I think, is better reading. One of her more well known books was The Delta of Venus.ViewDate:

Does making new friends get easier or more difficult as you get older? When people react in that way, I think it says a lot more about their insecurities, than about the person you are. I would ignore them, and go out and do whatever you want to do, don't worry about the negative people.ViewDate:

Is Chris Evans a suitable replacement presenter for Top Gear?Whilst everyone is focussing on Clarkson, spare a thought for the young producer who was involved, and reportedly off work with stress. Clarkson has the wealth and influence to get whatever work he wants, the young producer doesn't have that. I see Guy Martin is being proposed as one of the possible new presenters. I think he would be a great choice, as he has bags of personality, enthusiasm and has a passion for all kinds of engines, and is also very knowledgeable. Plus it's good to keep the biker element in the show as well.ViewDate:

Should Jeremy Clarkson be sacked or reinstated?A lot of people are so busy worrying about Jeremy Clarkson, that the producer who was assaulted seems to have been totally forgotten in all this. He unfortunately doesn't wield the power and influence that Clarkson does, and reportedly was off work with stress as a result of the incident. I hope he is able to put the whole unpleasant scene behind him, and get on with his career. As for Clarkson, people should remember that no-one, no matter who they are, is indispensable. Yes, the show will change with new presenters, but maybe it will then be more about cars than the over inflated egos. I see that Guy Martin has been touted as one of the possible new presenters, He would be excellent, as he has bags of personality but also a great passion for engines of any kind, and is always up for a challenge. It really isn't the end of the world, and put in a wider context of what is happening globally, it really isn't that important.ViewDate:

Is 65 too old to become a mother again?Definitely too old. I think she is going against our natural life cycle. There is a time for parenthood, then we transition to the next phase, as grandparents maybe, or just be there with our years of wisdom (!) and experience to advise the younger generation. We should accept life's phases with grace, and not try to go against our natural biology etc.ViewDate:

Does making new friends get easier or more difficult as you get older?I agree with Penst, a lot of groups do seem to assume the over 50s are all at home enjoying their leisure time. I am 61, and only reduced to working 4 days a week last year, but still have some years before retirement. Unfortunately, some of the groups I am interested in are not on the one day off a week that I have! I have also noticed that a lot of activities do seem to have a majority of women, not sure if its because men are less reluctant to get involved. I think you have to try and find groups in which you have an interest, take a deep breath and go along. Often, you will find other people may feel as nervous as yourself. Since I have got older, I do feel a lot less self conscious about going to things on my own, and sometimes it may make people more likely to talk to you, than if you have come along with someone else.ViewDate:

Do you iron your bed sheets? No! I iron very little these days, and wouldn't dream of ironing any item of bedding, duvet covers, sheets or pillowcases included. Even clothes, if you shake them when they come out of the washer, then put on hangers to dry, they are ok to wear. More creased items can be hung in the shower, so the steam helps get out the creases.
