EllieJones's bio
I enjoy DIY, cryptic crosswords, music ( wide variety) and am down to earth. Age is a state of mind and what is wrong with being 21 from the wrong end! I like good conversations and meeting people from all walks of life. I also have a good sense of humour and believe that if a person laughs it has a feel good factor.

Win a free pair of shoes from Hotter worth £129I have not heard of this brand before but would love to try a pair of the trainers. I feel that after reading the description of the comfort of this brand they are exactly what I am looking for.ViewDate:

Hi!Hi MissJo I am known as Ellie Jones. I am 65 years old and am due to retire in December this year. I love decorating and DIY but that is as far as the painting goes. Perhaps you should show some of your paintings on here. I am sure that people would like to see them. My ex husband writes and he has had several books published. They are quite interesting to read. He writes stories around actual facts which he researches first. What kind of things do you write about? I am also part of an ECO group. We have turned a wasteland into a micro meadow which is beautiful when it is in full bloom. We also added a bench set to it last year so members of the community can come and sit there to reflect on life or just for some peace and quiet! Hope you are staying safe and well. What are your views on TV Charity Begging Adverts?I feel the same way that you do Not2grey and I would rather donate to local charities that do not get the same publicity and that do some good. The smaller charities are struggling to survive as they allow on donations too and there is not much funding about to sustain them. At least you know your donation will be going to a good cause that is close to your heart.ViewDate:

Are you worried that other people are not following Covid rules?I totally agree with you on that one. It should be made mandatory for those in public areas to wear a mask. At the alarming rate COVID cases are increasing, and bearing in mind that the virus is mutating all the time this is something that should definitely be enforced.ViewDate:

Are you worried that other people are not following Covid rules? It makes me angry when I see people congregating in large groups in the middle of town centres especially when they are not socially distanced and none of them wearing masks. It would appear that they seem to think that they will be immune to catching COVID. I also think that all shops should take action on those that walk around with no masks on. I don't feel it's enough that they have sanitiser at the entrance, they should ensure that people in the shop wear their masks all the time they are in there and not around their necks. It's a shame that the minority not sticking to the rules are probably prolonging the spread of COVID. -
