Anyone else not seen family since March 2020?It is sad when some people don't adhere to rules for this covid virus. I know last year has been hard, everything has changed, but we adjusted because we have too. A whole year though, my goodness. I never experienced something like this. I'm 67 yrs. old, seen a lot, been though some challenges, but this, I can't explain it. But there seems to be a light at the end of the tunne.. I have not seen my grandchildren since October 2019. With travel restrictions last year, it was not possible to fly back to see them. I have family here, but that too was restricted because I have a daughter who is disabled and is high risk. So I didn't have family over at all. I felt like a hermit, lol. Yes, we went to the beach, did walks, etc. but not in any crowd situations. It all felt weird. I had grocies delivered, etc. I didn't want my daughter to catch the virus, it would be horrible. Asking people to social distance, everything on lockdown, etc is taking it toll on people. But still, if we are to fight this, we have to listen to the experts. Look at holidays time last year, virus spiked up again. It was sad to spend holidays by yourself. But I know and have no regrets because my daughter and I are in good health. Sorry, didn't mean to go on and on. I have to be positive, this year will be better. I know when this is all over, my family are going to have one big reunion. -
