Re-socialisationLol! The same here…I can definitely be friend of someone who is not a Trump supporter. I’m 59. I’m from Costa Rica, Central America. I’m engaged and will get married again in December. Hope it works out…I don’t want to regret my decision.ViewDate:

Kinda lost - is it too late to start again at 65?The same happened to me! I got a divorce after a 30 year marriage, but no regrets. I’m 59, and I’m ready to start a new relationship….of course trying not to make the same mistakes I did in the past.ViewDate:

Kinda lost - is it too late to start again at 65?I don’t think it is too late to start at 65, but it is not going to be easy to find the right person. When I got my divorce, my psychologist advice was not to remember and point my ex husband mistakes and faults, but to recognize my own….so If I started a new relationship I won’t do the same mistakes I did before.ViewDate:

I'm a dog person wanting to become a cat person - is there such a thing?Cats are excellent pets but they are certainly so much different to dogs. They are loving but not like the dogs, they like to keep their territory and privacy. They are so independent and clean. They like to be in control and they an ignore you.ViewDate:

Long distance relationship in lockdownHi! A long distance relationship is a challenge and does not always work. It could be complicated but if you get to know someone trustful with whom you can establish a real connection, it worths trying. I am a woman (59) and I met a man (64) on an online dating site (a trustful one). He lives in the US and I live in another country in Central America. At the beginning we just write emails. We both ask lots of questions, and get to know more about each other. We did that for Two months and then we decided we should meet on WhatsApp and do video chat. With Covid, we knew we couldn’t travel, so we just kept on chatting. We definitely had a connection and we both liked each other. So then after a few months, when Traveling was eased, he decided to come and meet me in my country. It was awesome….instant attraction. He came back to his country and now I will visit him in August. Now we are going to the next level in the relationship and we are thinking about getting married by the end of the year. He met my family, they liked him a lot. I will meet his fami,y in August, and Im sure it will be fine. So….a long distance relationship can work but you should be able to meet a few months after. And the most important is to ask the right questions and to communicate a lot, to know if there is a real connection and attraction.
