Pen palsI'm new here and have never had a pen pal in my life and I'm 67 years old. My partner of 37 years has recently passed and so I'm looking for something or someone to ease lonely hours. I live in an English Durham village called Esh Winning and was born on the east coast in West Hartlepool (now Hartlepool). I feel as though I'm losing the passion for interests but I have had hobbies of sport, particularly football, music, listening to and playing, reading practically anything and walking. Thank you for reading.ViewDate:

NewbieHi, I'm petty much a newbie and also interested in music, photography, travel and reading. Music i enjoy is varied, I have around a 1000 cd's and about 200 lp's. I also play guitar, harmonica and just started clawhammer banjo. I enjoy photography and have a nikon D3400, although I don't get out with it as much as I'd like. I've only been abroad twice but have travelled all over Britain and enjoy driving but again, I don't get as far as I would like to. I tend to read practically anything and don't have a favourite author or subject matter although I do like books that broaden my mind.ViewDate:

A bit of music fun and hope you will all join inHa, my very first comment on anything silver surfers. I love "Summertime Blues" by T.Rex but I've been a Marc Bolan fan before he shortened the band's name. I also like "Summertime", a George Gershwin song, I believe but I like Janis Joplin's version. A few more summer songs that appeal to me are "In the Summertime" by Mungo Jerry, "Summer Holiday" by Cliff Richards, "Summer of 69" by Bryan Adams. I also like listening to Vivaldi's four seasons which has "Summer" as part of it. -
